TAXIDERMY TERMS OF SERVICE

1. Legality and Documentation

Deer Creek Wildlife LLC accepts no responsibility for the legality of harvest of the specimen(s). All licenses, tags, and identification must be presented at the time of check-in. Deer Creek Wildlife LLC is not responsible for the legality of any animals and is not responsible for the seizure of any animals by wildlife officials.

Deer Creek Wildlife LLC must have a signed copy of this Agreement and copies of proper legal documentation, license(s), tag(s), and/or permit information on file before beginning any taxidermy work. If not already done so, the client must send copies of all documents immediately, as the estimated completion cannot be accomplished without these documents.

2. Tanning Risks

The client understands that due to factors beyond the taxidermist’s control, such as field care, all tanning, whether done in-house or otherwise, is done entirely at the specimen owner’s risk.

3. Estimated Completion Timelines

Estimated completion time is a rough estimate made according to current workload, schedules, and availability of supplies. It is not a guaranteed deadline.

4. Deposits, Pricing, and Payments

A minimum deposit of 50% is required prior to the commencement of work. Prices are subject to change and are not honored until a 50% deposit is received. No work will be released until the balance is paid in full, with no exceptions.

5. Abandoned Property

Work not claimed and/or paid for in full within ninety (90) days of the billing notification date may become the sole property of Deer Creek Wildlife LLC. Deer Creek Wildlife LLC reserves the right to sell, dispose of, or retain the specimen to cover unpaid balances.

6. Liability and Force Majeure

Deer Creek Wildlife LLC, its members, or employees will NOT be held responsible for loss or damage of specimens or other items resulting from: theft, fire, vandalism, flood, third-party loss or damage, or other circumstances beyond our control.
